This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
STAY OFF MY PAGE! I know you've been there, at least four times since I said I was done with you. I have every right to protect myself from thieving bastards like yourself.
And once again, even though I know you're doing it only to piss me off, my name is NOT "Wolfy" and I am FEMALE. I don't think with a cock.
Okay, this is just too bizarre not to butt into, and I think an unbiased third party might be necessary to bring some sense into this.
First, to touch on the issue immediately at hand, this is a publicly-viewable website. Anyone can view it, and no users have the ability to ban anyone else from viewing their work. And if you're worried about the keyboard-mash-monkey stealing your work, they already stated the only reason they don't list the original creator for items they've modified is because they don't know who the original creator is; this lack of information would clearly not be an issue here.
Second, copyright law is actually rather fuzzy, especially when it comes to determining ownership of derivative works. To make an extreme example, Andy Warhol holds no ownership of the Campbell's Soup Company, nor to the likeness of Marilyn Monroe; yet his work is entirely within the bounds of copyright law. Similarly, Brian Clevinger has no license to any Final Fantasy games and characters, but his comic 8-Bit Theater falls under the terms of Fair Use because his work differs enough from the original source of the images he uses. While there is nothing I am able to view in Tai's gallery, by the descriptions I've read, it's likely that their work falls under this same protection; if this is the case, then giving credit to the creator of the original work is simply a courtesy. If this is not the case, the whole matter could be circumvented by a simple explanation as was posted elsewhere in the argument — to paraphrase, "This work is not mine, I'm merely hosting it here for easy access. I do not know the creator."
Third, every piece of evidence available to any moderators of this website point to pipe-organ-wolf being the troll and harasser here.
I can tell art theft is something you're passionate about, which I totally understand, but when confronting *anything*, you need to have your facts straight and your head level — you're coming across as paranoid and hostile. Take a deep breath, count to ten, and be reasonable and careful, Lupus Organicus. You're already treading thin ice.
